Witzel Hall

Witzel Hall is a home away from home for the young men who live at Auburn Adventist Academy.  More than just a place to sleep, study, and make friends, it is a Christ-centered community designed to bring the best out of its residents.  Important life skills will be established as students build habits of responsibility and independence.  It is a safe environment that has many opportunities for spiritual growth, leadership, service, and the practice of encouraging one another.  Weekly evaluation of room cleanliness, academics, citizenship, and attendance help Resident Advisors and Deans to affirm those who are succeeding and encourage those who need improvement.  Weekend activities, tournaments, games, and nightly worship services shape a strong knit fellowship. The goal of the residence hall program is to have young men ready for college, ready to be conscientious citizens, and ready to honorably respect others in every circumstance.  Jesus’ method was to work intentionally for others. This is the example that we would emulate here at Auburn Adventist Academy, that we would help each other to be the best that we can be.  Witzel Hall exists to build boys into young men that honor God and man.
